15.10.2018: Laser Diode Modules with Single Mode Fiber Output
The new series ML1xxFC are laser diode modules with a single mode fiber output. The wavelength range is from 405nm to 2500nm. The power out of the SM fiber can be up to 100mW. The operating temperature range is from -10°C to +50°C. With dimensions of 12.6mm to 15mm in diameter and 40mm in length (without connector) they are very compact. As an option these modules are offered with potentiometer for power adjustment, external TTL modulation up to 1MHz and analogue modulation up to 100kHz.

It is eminently necessary in machine vision, especially in 3D vision systems, to have a laser illumination source that delivers uniform and stable output beam. 14.08.2018: New High Power Diode Laser Systems
FLC offers turnkey high power 915nm and 980nm diode laser system with fiber output. The product is based on multiple single emitter design and can deliver 1000W of optical power from 300um core fiber and 3000W from 600um core fiber.
The systems can be operated in CW or modulated mode with modulation frequency up to 20kHz. Standard features include the aiming beam, RS232 interface, QBH connector, which matches most commercial processing heads and IP54 protection rating.
The flat-top beam from the laser system provides a uniform energy distribution. Compared to other types of lasers, the direct diode laser system has higher wall-plug efficiency, more compact structure and more competitive price.
With control over the operating temperature of the diode laser, as well as current and pulse width, the system offers flexibility and an easy to use interface. The system can be controlled either from the front panel user interface or by a computer-controlled RS-232 interface.
Main applications are cladding, welding and heat treatment.
14.08.2018: Mini Green DPSS Laser
The Mini Green DPSS Lasers FELM-532-XXT have a similar small size like a TO56 can (Ø5.6 x 6.5mm) and are available with output powers of 20mW, 30mW and 50mW. The wavelength is 532nm with high color purity and strong mono-chromaticity due to an integrated infrared filter on the output window. The wide operating temperature range (-20 - 45°C) allows the usage in a wide range of applications. The energy consumption is very low which saves supply power. Additionally it has an integrated photodiode to measure the output power, which allows using it with APC circuit and achieving high power stability. The beam coming from the laser has the size of ~2mm x 2mm with divergence of ~10° in both directions.
17.07.2018: High Brightness Air-cooled Fiber-coupled Blue Diode Laser Module
The FACH-450-13W-FC105-AC from FLC is a 450nm diode laser module which delivers 13W from a 105µm fiber. A special feature of this laser module is the forced air cooling and the compact design. The temperature can be regulated by TEC and allows the usage within an ambient temperature range of 5-40°C. Main applications are plastic material processing and precise micro-soldering on PCB, it is also well suitable for 3D printing and other industrial, medical, scientific and laser display applications.
25.06.2018: LED Mini-Spectrometers
We are happy to announce release of the new line of ultra-compact LED mini-spectrometers for express spectral analysis in the near infrared range from 1.3 to 2.4 µm. First samples of LMS-R LED mini-spectrometer are available for purchase.
The heart of the device is the optical block comprised of 12 LEDs with different emission peaks and a wideband photodiode. Using LEDs and photodiodes allowed minimizing spectrometer dimensions, reducing its power consumption and measurement time while essentially decreasing its price comparing to functional analogues.
27.03.2018: Green Laser Torch
The Green Laser Torch from Lasence is a compact, battery operated searchlight. At 532nm it delivers an output power of 40mW over 1km distance at night and has an adjustable focus. The projected beam is homogenized. Due to the water & dust proof housing (IP65) and a wide operation temperature range (-30°C to +50°C) it is suitable for the use in harsh ambient conditions. Further features are fast rise time and high reliability.

The module has no moving parts which makes the laser particularly reliable. The expected lifetime is over 10,000 hours.
Main applications are plastic material processing and accurate micro soldering on PCB, it is also well suitable for 3D printing and other industrial, medical, scientific and laser display applications. The laser output power can be scalable with multiple 10W fiber-coupled blue diode modules.
05.12.2017: New Product Line: IR Laser Illuminators
The IR laser illuminators of the FLTT series are high-performance products with integrated high quality VCSEL chips and an excellent optic design. They are offered at wavelengths 808nm, 860nm & 940nm and with output powers of up to 2.2W which allows an illuminating distance of up to 500m. Due to an outstanding circuit control with high efficiency and wide beam angle zooming range it can match the field of view angle of most cameras, like high-speed dome, PTZ and traffic monitoring cameras. The fan angle can be electronically adjusted via serial port within a range of 1.7° to 70° and with a tolerance of ±0.2°. The output beam is very uniform and speckle free. Thus they are excellently suitable for the use in video surveillance systems, machine vision, automotive night vision systems, gesture recognition, displays or military applications.
16.12.2016: New Product Line: The ML2040 Series High Power Laser Modules
The laser modules of the ML2040-Series deliver high output power of up to 2W and are ideal for the use in industrial applications with harsh environmental conditions. The offered wavelengths range from 405nm to 1060nm. Apart from round and line beam, other beam shapes like grids, circles or line and dot arrays are available. The line beam has sharp rectangular shape with homogenous power distribution along the line. The housing is electrically isolated and keeps the protection class IP65 (IP67 optional) conditions. TTL modulation up to 1MHz and analogue modulation up to 100kHz are optionally available. The power stability is <1% over 24 hours.

Engineered diffusors are advanced beam shapers capable of homogenizing an input beam while shaping the output intensity profile and the way light is distributed in space.

The diffusors material is a 2mm polymer-on-glass combination and has a damage threshold of >20J/cm². The transmission spectrum covers the wavelength range from 400nm to 2000nm.

17.03.16: Low Cost Strontium Detection Laser Diode
Frankfurt Laser Company Adds Low Cost Strontium Detection Laser Diode to the Product Line. The fiber-coupled 689nm laser diode EP689-DM-BC from Eblana Photonics is a unique high power single wavelength laser source. It is supplied in an industry standard 14 pin Butterfly package with a polarization maintaining fiber pigtail. This 689nm laser diode is ideally suited for the use in TDLAS-based gas sensing systems for strontium detection.
16.03.16: New Mitsubishi Laser Diode with 2.5W Output Power at 638nm
The ML562G84 from Mitsubishi is a pulsed laser diode with 2.5W output power at 638nm. It is encased in a 9mm TO package.
